Notepad++ : Text and Programmers Editor
One of my earlier posts regarding text editors brought to light a number of competitors to PHP Designer. The best of the bunch for me was Notepad++. It doesn’t have the project handling of PHP designer , but as a text and programming editor it is spot on. Lightweight and useable straight away. If you use Notepad for your coding now because of its simplicity, then you will love Notepad++.
